Springfield, IL … The Illinois House unanimously approved legislation to allow global positioning satellite tracking to be used on domestic abuse offenders who violate orders of protection.

House Bill 3038, sponsored by Rep. McAuliffe, was created in response to the murder of Cindy Bischof who was fatally shot in March outside her Elmhurst real estate office by a former intimate partner who stalked her for 10 months.
